May 20, 2009 SEATTLE — Michael Avery, manager for rail operations at King County Metro, answered questions from the press Wednesday morning about joint bus-rail operations in the Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel. Sound Transit began simulated service in the transit tunnel today and along the Link light rail route yesterday in preparation of actual service beginning July 18, 2009.
