If you’re constantly needing to change the date on your computer, there is no better way to do it than using Beyondo. This program comes in very handy for that particular task.
For one, it can change and restore your PC’s default date in just one click. What’s great about this software is that once a date is set, almost all applications that depend on Windows system date will also change their internal date.
Beyondo is very portable at only 88kb and it does not need to be installed. The program comes with several preset and quickset functions. You can also use its Autoquit tool to automatically close itself at a predetermined time and restore the computer systems actual date.
To start with, go to http://bluefive.pair.com/beyondo.htm and download the program’s executable file, which is in zip format.
You can either tick the Open with or the Save File tickbox. For this illustration, we will pick the first selection. Press the OK button to continue.
When the downloading is finished, the system will immediately open your default archiver application.
In WinRAR, you will have to click the Extract To button to decompress the zip file to your preferred directory. Whatever archiver you’re using, you will have to unzip the recently downloaded file.
After extracting, browse to the location where you decompress the zip file and double-click Beyondo.exe.
This is the application’s primary interface, which only has a small window with less functional buttons. When Beyondo is launch, it will only consume approximately 1.2MB of your computer’s memory.
To change a date, input your preferred entry to the Alter date text box. Keep in mind that the correct date format is mm/dd/yyyy. You can input past or future dates.
After you’re done entering your alter date, click the Set button.
Your PC’s date is now changed. Press OK to close the box.
Check your system tray and its clock will be adjusted.
Even your system calendar will also be changed.
Let’s try one area where Beyondo is of great help. When you’re sending an email in Microsoft Outlook, try to open your Outbox folder. You will see that the Sent column now applies the altered date.
Check an email with the changed date on it. For this instance, Gmail received a message that was delivered using the adjusted date.
Be careful though. When using Beyondo, it might alter some certificate or license settings that depend on the current or the actual date in your computer.
To go back to the current date, press Reset to actual date.
The application will then restore your PC’s correct date.
For ease of use, Beyondo has several Preset and Quickset utilities you can apply. If you want to time how many seconds or minutes should the altered date remain active, click the Autoquit menu and select an item.
